1977 Channel Islands 22. A versatile and robust day / weekend motor cruiser, renowned for its strong sea-keeping capabilities. Silva Yates of Guernsey built several hundred of these boats designed by Alan Buchanan over a number of years. It is a testament to their construction and sea-keeping abilities that each one was delivered to the mainland by sea and under its own power. Powered by a 90hp Perkins diesel engine. Black rubber D-fender rubbing strake around gunwale. Wheel steered with auxiliary tiller arrangement. 2-berths, galley with sink, hob and grill, heads compartment with sea toilet.
